Steco dual fuel
Steco dual-fuel pages cover supported petrol and LPG sets, including dual-fuel inverter generators used as portable or home backup. Natural-gas standby is not the subject. The model decides which fuels it can use.

A Steco dual-fuel repair is about petrol operation, LPG operation, and the point where the set is asked to change between them. ProService Generator Repairs does that independently. Recoil start and push-button start are both in scope when that starter is fitted.
Petrol-only carburettor and recoil detail, without the LPG side, lives on the Steco petrol page. This page stays with sets that are built to use both fuels.
The usual Steco dual-fuel complaint is specific. It runs on petrol and dies on LPG, or it will start on LPG and will not carburett on petrol. Those are diagnosed separately. A set that will not start on either is a spark, starter or shutdown problem before either fuel is replaced in the story.
Switching faults are inspected on the selector the generator was made with. Owners are not given steps to build an LPG connection, change a regulator, or convert a petrol-only frame.
Recoil Steco sets are watched while the rope is pulled. Electric or push-button sets are checked at the battery and the starter. A dead battery on a dual-fuel inverter can be mistaken for an LPG fault because the set never turns over to show which fuel it likes.
Where the Steco on site is a dual-fuel inverter, output that cuts, surges or never appears is kept at inverter level. AVR language is reserved for sets that actually have an AVR. Engine speed and frequency complaints are measured, not guessed from a sticker that is not on the machine.
No-power with a running engine is an electrical job. It is not another turn of the fuel selector.
Home backup and portable Steco sets are serviced with oil, the plug, the filter and a start on each fuel the model supports. A backup set that has only ever seen petrol may fail the first LPG outing. That is a service finding, not a conversion project.
Steco dual-fuel faults. Petrol-only jobs stay on the petrol page.

Carburettor and spark, with the petrol page available for that detail.
The fuel choice the set was built with is checked. It is not re-engineered.
Output symptoms on an inverter Steco, confirmed on that machine.
Electric start checked before either fuel is blamed.
Petrol and LPG are tested as the model allows.
The page diagnoses. It does not teach a gas modification.
Inverter symptoms are not labelled as a generic AVR fault.
Petrol-only Steco repairs stay on their own URL.

Yes. Supported Steco petrol and LPG sets, including dual-fuel inverters, are repaired and serviced independently.
Yes. That symptom is diagnosed on site. The visit does not include DIY conversion or regulator adjustment steps.
Yes, when the set is an inverter. Output faults are traced on the inverter path.
A set that does not turn is a recoil or battery fault. A set that turns and will not fire is spark or the fuel that is selected.
No. Fuel configuration depends on the model. Petrol-only sets are handled on the Steco petrol page.
Yes. Missing or unstable output is diagnosed after the engine is running.
