Talon
Talon petrol generators used at homes and in workshops are serviced on site. Fuel, starting and output faults are diagnosed from the set, not from a guessed specification sheet.

Talon petrol generators turn up as house sets and as workshop portables. House sets sit and then will not start. Workshop sets run longer, collect dust in the filter, and show voltage trouble when a tool kicks in.
ProService Generator Repairs covers carburettor and fuel faults, starting-system problems, AVR and no-power faults, and ordinary maintenance. There is no authorised Talon claim.
Portable frames are the usual machine. A larger standby diesel is not renamed into this visit.
Talon repairs follow the room the set lives in. A garage set is checked for stale fuel first. A workshop set is checked for the air filter and for whether the output holds when a load is applied.
No-start and no-power stay apart. One is the engine. The other is the electrical end, once the engine is willing.
Talon servicing is oil, the filter, the plug and a controlled run. Workshop filters are inspected more closely. House sets get the fuel question. A dragging starter is reported during the service rather than left for the next blackout.
Talon petrol faults on house and workshop visits.
Old petrol, plug or oil switch after weeks of sitting.
Mixture or a choked filter when a tool starts.
Recoil or electric start, identified on the frame.
Engine running, output missing.
AVR, speed or wiring under load.
A long workshop run with poor airflow.
Talon no-start diagnosis covers fuel, the carburettor, spark, low-oil shutdown and the starter. A workshop set that has been running is less likely to be varnished and more likely to be a plug, a filter or a switch. A stored house set is the varnish candidate.
Talon carburettor faults are blocked jets, a float that sticks and fuel that no longer flows through the tap or the lines. The air filter is checked in the same breath on a dusty set, because a blocked filter changes the mixture the carburettor is blamed for.
Cleaning is used when the unit is sound. Replacement is used when it is not. That is decided with the carburettor open.
Talon starting faults include a recoil that no longer engages and an electric starter that clicks on a flat battery. Cables and terminals are cleaned and tested before the motor is replaced.
Talon AVR faults and no-power faults are tested after the engine holds speed. A workshop load is useful here: voltage that looks fine at idle and collapses with a tool connected is a real finding, not a guess.
Garage backup for the house.
Longer runs and tool loads.
Frames that move between the two.
Matched to the starter fitted.
Talon maintenance splits by use. House sets need fresh fuel practices. Workshop sets need filters and oil before they overheat on a long run. Both get a start test.
The same brand fails differently in each place.
Voltage is watched with something connected, where it is safe to do so.
A dusty filter is not ignored on a mixture fault.

02
Send the suburb, make, model, kVA, fuel type, the fault or alarm, and the controller model if you can see it. Photos of the set and the data plate can go on WhatsApp.

A time is agreed from the diary. A same-day slot is offered only when one is open, and it is confirmed on the call.
04
The technician inspects the generator on site and identifies the likely fault or the service that is due.
05
The findings and the proposed repair or service are explained before parts are changed.

Repairs or servicing then follow the scope you approve.
Talon petrol visits cover the major Gauteng areas.

My Talon lawn generator had a damaged pull cord and dirty carb. They fixed both right in my driveway for a very fair price.

Fast, convenient Talon repairs on site.
Yes. Talon petrol generators are serviced and repaired for homes and workshops.
Yes. Fuel, spark, the oil switch and the starter are checked. Stored house sets and working workshop sets are not given the same first guess.
Yes. Jets, fuel flow and the air filter are inspected together.
Yes. Output is diagnosed after the engine is running, including low and missing voltage.
Yes. Recoil and electric-start faults are inspected according to the starter on the set.
The checklist is the same family of checks. Filters, dust and load get more attention on a workshop set. Fuel age gets more attention on a stored house set.
