PowerBoss
PowerBoss petrol generators used at home and in small workshops are repaired on site. Fuel, the starter and output are checked as separate systems.

PowerBoss petrol generators are portable sets for a house or a light workshop. The usual failure is practical: old fuel, a starter that no longer catches, or voltage that sags when something is plugged in.
Repairs are independent. No authorised PowerBoss status is claimed, and no model rating is guessed from the name.
PowerBoss repairs prove the fault first. A starter fault is not given a carburettor clean. A carburettor fault is not given a new AVR. The inspection writes the order.
Servicing is oil, the filter, the plug and a start under a small load. Workshop sets get the air path checked. House sets get the fuel age checked.
PowerBoss petrol faults seen on portable sets.
Recoil pawl or, where fitted, a flat battery.
Stale petrol or a blocked jet.
Voltage drops as soon as a load is connected.
Oil, airflow or a long run on a small frame.
PowerBoss no-start work separates “it will not turn” from “it turns and will not fire”. The first is the starter. The second is fuel, spark or the oil switch.
PowerBoss carburettor problems follow fuel that sat in the bowl. Jets, the float and the choke are inspected with the tap and lines. A cracked or corroded unit is replaced rather than cleaned for the sake of it.
Starter faults are the recoil mechanism on pull-start sets and the battery circuit on electric-start sets. Engagement is checked before the rope is pulled harder.
PowerBoss output issues are low voltage and voltage that will not hold a tool or a household load. The AVR is tested with the engine steady. Wiring and the breaker are included.
The main PowerBoss petrol use.
Garage backup between outages.
Light tool loads and dust.
Whichever is fitted.
PowerBoss maintenance is a short planned visit: oil, filter, plug and fuel. It is how a portable stays startable.
Starter, fuel and AVR are not swapped.
Both are diagnosed on site.
No manufacturer partnership is claimed.

A time is agreed from the diary. A same-day slot is offered only when one is open, and it is confirmed on the call.

The technician inspects the generator on site and identifies the likely fault or the service that is due.

Great electrical troubleshooting for PowerBoss.
Yes. Portable PowerBoss petrol generators are repaired and serviced for home and workshop use.
Yes. Recoil engagement is inspected, and the battery circuit is inspected when an electric starter is fitted.
Yes. Old fuel and blocked jets are diagnosed. Not every carburettor is repairable.
A drop under load can be engine speed, the AVR, wiring, or a load the set is struggling with. It is measured rather than guessed.
Yes. Oil, the filter, the plug and fuel condition are the usual service.
